Last April, my wife and I went to Montreal, Québec, for a long weekend. There will be an article about the trip in the next issue of Fuggles, but for now, I want to share some photos I took of the remarkable street art to be found in this gorgeous Francophone city.
We never walked far without seeing an amazing mural on the side of a building:
Sometimes their placement indicated they were part of a public installation, but not always. Sometimes they were tucked away in crumbling parking lots or alleys:
Sometimes they we on shops or restaurants:
But there were more than a few that were in out of the way places where one doesn’t typically expect to see beauty:
Even the sidewalk tagging bore some sophistication:
We’ve never seen such beautiful street art in all my lives,
and we can’t wait to go back!
